How to create a Keeplet account
On the Keeplet website you can create a free account at keeplet.app: click Start for free, open the Sign up tab and fill in the form with your email and password, or choose Sign up with Google or Sign up with Apple. After signing up you go straight into your personal area, with no further steps.
Before you start
You need a valid email address and an up-to-date browser (computer, tablet or phone). If you register with email, choose a password of at least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
Steps
- Open keeplet.app in your browser and click Start for free. Alternatively, go directly to keeplet.app/auth.
- On the sign-in page, choose the Sign up tab (the other tab is Sign in).
- Enter your First name and Last name: each must be 2 to 50 characters long.
- Enter your Email.
- Choose a Password of at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number. With the eye icon you can show it while you type.
- Repeat the password in the Confirm password field: the two passwords must match.
- Tick the I accept the Terms and Conditions checkbox.
- Click Sign up. The button stays disabled until all fields are valid.
How do I sign up with Google or Apple?
In the same Sign up tab, click Sign up with Google or Sign up with Apple. A window from the provider opens where you confirm the account: you do not have to choose a password for Keeplet. If you close the window without completing the sign-in, nothing happens and you can try again.
How do I sign in if I already have an account?
In the Sign in tab, enter your Email and Password and click Sign in, or use Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. If you don't remember your password, click Forgot password, enter your email and click Send email: you will receive a link to choose a new password with Reset password.
What happens next
When you sign up, Keeplet creates your first space and notebook in the language you were using (English or Italian). Right after signing up you land on Home, the starting point of the website. On your first visit Keeplet offers a short 4-step tutorial (you can skip it with Skip tutorial) and, if you haven't created any spaces of your own yet, prepares a Sample space for you with the notebook Keeplet in 30 seconds, designed for trying out notes, flashcards and review. Is Keeplet free?
Yes. Registration is free and the Free plan includes spaces, notebooks, flashcards with spaced repetition, progress statistics and review notifications.
Do I have to confirm my email after signing up?
No. When you click Sign up, the website takes you straight into your personal area. Still, use an address you check: you need it to recover your password.
Can I use Keeplet without an account?
On the website you always need an account. Using the app for Android or iPhone? There you can also start without signing up: read Use Keeplet without an account.
What do I do if I see "This email is already registered"?
It means an account with that address already exists. Switch to the Sign in tab, or use Forgot password if you don't remember the right one.
Why isn't my password accepted?
Check that it has at least 8 characters and contains an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number. Under the field a message shows the missing requirement, for example "Must contain uppercase, lowercase and number". The same rule applies in the app and when you reset your password; if you chose a simpler password in the past you can keep signing in with it.
